Engineered for 1/2-inch drywall, the adapter installs with standard taping and mudding steps and includes a depth-calibration mechanism to ensure the iPad sits perfectly flush after finishing. The unit ships unpainted and is designed to be finished on site for a true integrated appearance; it allows easy insertion and removal of the iPad for charging or service. An integrated PoE-to-USB converter simplifies clean power delivery: connect an IEEE 802.3at PoE+ source via CAT5/6 and RJ45 and route the included USB-C lead to the tablet, following the cable path illustrated on page 2.
