Product Overview
Product Overview
The Single Surface Light Switch kit brings a quiet, architectural switch detail to wood, stone, and other hard surfaces. Its slim, paintable fascia reads composed and intentional on the wall, while the depth-adjustable surface box meets the finished material for a tailored, low-profile presentation. The result is a discreet, design-first control point that preserves clean lines across feature walls and millwork where a standard cover plate would distract.

This variant-ready kit installs with a familiar rough-in workflow adapted for hard surfaces. Mount the adjustable surface box to framing, route conductors through the integrated clamp, and set the box depth to the final material thickness; after panels are installed, add the trim ring and paintable fascia for a refined finish that recedes into the background. The opening accepts standard U.S. single-gang switches and dimmers (Decora or toggle, device selection per circuit and code). For certain dimmers with side tabs, follow the instruction note on trimming to maintain an even reveal. Use on interior walls only; for drywall projects requiring a fully flush, mud-in look, select the brand’s Hidden/Flush series. Professional installation is recommended for code-compliant wiring, correct box depth, and precise alignment. Electronics/devices are not included—this kit supplies the surface-mount box, trim ring, fascia, and mounting hardware.
• Application: interior walls on wood, stone, and other hard surfaces; low-profile, paint-to-match look
• Finish: paintable fascia supports color-matching and faux finishing
• Compatibility: standard U.S. single-gang switches and dimmers (Decora or toggle)
• Installation: adjustable-depth surface box with integrated wire clamp; add trim ring and fascia after panels are installed
• Planning notes: verify material clearance, conductor bend radius, and device rating; follow tab-trim guidance for selected dimmers
