Sized to fit a 10" × 10" drywall opening and replace a cover over an 8" × 8" duct opening or wall cavity, the satin-coat galvanized steel frame fastens to 1/2" or 5/8" drywall, then tapes, muds, sands, and paints in for a seamless finish. The removable cover is triple fibre reinforced cement board, primed and ready to paint; four concealed magnets hold it secure while allowing quick removal for cleaning or filter changes. The face measures approximately 9.629" × 9.629" with a 7.645" × 7.645" slotted area (eleven straight slots) and over 27 square inches of open area; overall assembly is about 12.125" × 12.125" × 0.5". Materials are moisture, mold, and water resistant for wall or ceiling applications.
