At a height of 9 feet, the sensor provides a 16 feet 4 inches by 16 feet 4 inches observation area, while at 10 feet, it expands to 19 feet 8 inches by 19 feet 8 inches. The device operates optimally when there is a temperature difference of at least 39°F between the target and its surroundings, and a minimum movement speed of 3 feet per second.
Installation is straightforward, requiring a 1 1/2 inch hole for ceiling mounting. The sensor is designed for flush integration, blending into dark ceilings or exterior finishes for a subtle and modern appearance. Electrical connections are recommended through CAT cable, supporting 20-24 AWG, and should be connected to the control system using the push-fit connector.
