The MUD-IN 0.5 in. Channel is a half-inch drywall channel that recesses linear LED into the plane of the wall or ceiling for a seamless, architectural reveal. The trimless flange muds in like a drywall detail; once finished and painted, you’re left with a quiet line of light—no visible hardware, no visual noise. The bundled Classic Frosted lens softens output for a composed, low-glare glow suited to corridors, niches, and gallery-grade residential spaces.

Engineered for tape light up to roughly 0.39" wide, this 96" aluminum channel and lens bundle installs flush in gypsum and finishes paint-to-match. The Classic Frosted lens delivers a wide 120° distribution with approximately 20% light loss and a minimal CCT shift for balanced diffusion. Use the included open and closed end caps for clean terminations; add the accessory pack when you need extra caps. The profile stands about 0.55" high with a 2.14" overall width; plan a 0.51" cut width and coordinate stud locations before mud-in for a straight, level reveal. Pair with suitable 24 V tape light; the channel is listed for indoor/damp use and can be used in wet areas when paired with wet-rated tape and sealed terminations per code.
